Key positions have recently been filled at EURO-Leasing GmbH / MAN Financial Services Rental. Armin Hofer (44) has taken on the position of CEO. The previous Head of Sales for the individual and corporate customers Germany market of Volkswagen Bank GmbH is replacing Nils Uphoff (40). Nils Uphoff’s appointment as Interim CEO ends as planned on 30 November 2017 and he will then focus on his new responsibility: Key Account Contract Management in Volkswagen Financial Services Digital Solutions GmbH.

Armin Hofer now has four and a half years of management-level experience behind him as Head of Sales Germany market of Volkswagen Bank GmbH. Hofer previously served as CEO at Volkswagen Versicherungsdienst Austria. Hofer obtained his Master of Science, Management for Business Advisory Professions in Wiener Neustadt, with distinction in 2003. Hofer is married and has three children.

Dr Matthias Szupories (36) has left the company as Head of Sales & Marketing for personal reasons. Marco Herre (42), who previously occupied the position of Head of Business Development, has taken on the position of Head of Sales. The Business Administration graduate has gained a lot experience in the area of property financing and rental in the past 10 years. In his previous position as Head of Business Development at EURO-Leasing GmbH, he successfully introduced the customer-friendly service and protection lines. Marco Herre is married and has 2 children.

Holger Albermann (53) took on the position of Head of Sales Northern Germany on the first of August. He brings with him 30 years of commercial vehicle and financing experience and has lived for years in the Hamburg area with his family of five, where he successfully managed Volvo’s truck sales. Along with Wolfgang Kromer (49), who has been working as Head of Retail Germany at EURO-Leasing GmbH since 2015, he will be responsible for the German sales team and take care of customer requests.

Stefan Helmgens (36), former Head of Sales for Used Vehicles, has taken over the Business Development department. He has occupied the position of Head of Sales for Used Vehicles since January 2014, and thanks to his many years of experience in the MAN Group he will be able to make the best use of his experience.

After about two and a half years, Thomas Gregor (43) is handing on his position as Head of Fleet Management to Boris Riekenberg (42) for personal reasons. He took over the position of Head of Fleet Management on the first of August. Riekenberg successfully completed his MBA with a focus on logistics at the German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy in 2006. Before that, he served as global Head of Fleet Management at Kuehne + Nagel Management AG.
